| HOGWARTS CASTLE |
| THE LOUNGE
A room made by the founding four to unite the four houses lies at the end of the sixth floor corridor. There a cosy armchairs around the room and tables for you to sit and work at. This room is catered by the house elves who will get you anything you need.

| THE KITCHENS
Directly underneath the Great Hall lies a room the same size as it. Over a hundred house elves work here making the meals for the staff and students above. Five long tables are placed around the kitchen, each directly below the ones that are above. This is where the food is prepared and sent up.

| ENTRANCE HALL
Double oak doors open to reveal a room lit by torches. A magnificent marble staircase lies opposite the front doors which lead to the upper levels. Another pair of double doors to the right of the front doors takes to the Great Hall and to the left is the antechamber where new first years wait before they are sorted.

| MOANING MYRTLE'S BATHROOM
Along the second floor corridor is a small door of to the right where an out of order sign hangs. Inside is a gloomy dimly lit bathroom, which makes you feel depressed. This bathroom is never cleaned and the wooden doors are worn and the paint is fading away. The chipped sinks form a line under a large, cracked dirty mirror. This toilet is haunted by a ghost named Moaning Myrtle. She is upset easily so be careful.

| ARMOR GALLERY
A long room taking up the west side of the third floor is home to the armor gallery. Along the sides are suits of armor. Some are alive and move but some don't move. Be careful in here because they like to make people jump.

| TROPHY ROOM
Along the third floor corridor is a small room adjacent to the armor gallery. Inside there is trophy's concealed behind crystal cases. These trophy's have been awarded to past students. There is also a list of past head boys and girls.

| STAFF ROOM
A large room protected by two talking gargoyles. This room is where Hogwarts staff can be found if they are not teaching. No students are allowed in here, so you will have to knock on he door and wait for a member of staff to come to you. Be warned, the gargoyles are really annoying!

| THE LIBRARY
Hogwarts library has tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. At the back of the library is the Restricted Section. It is separated from the rest of the library by a rope and you can only access this part if you have a signed slip from a teacher.

| ROOM OF REQUIREMENTS
This room can only be found if you are in need of something. To enter you need to talk past the wall opposite a tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy three times and then it should appear. You can not enter if someone is already using it unless you are in need of the same thing.

| THE TOWERS
Hogwarts castle has six main towers throughout the entire castle. One of which is for teaching and two are common rooms. The remaining towers can be found here. Be careful once your up there, the ground below them isn't soft.

| THE COMMON ROOMS
Students will retire to the house common rooms at the end of each day. These forum magnificent rooms are found all around the castle and can only be accessed by students of that house.

| HOGWARTS MAGIC |
| ANCIENT RUNES CLASSROOM
On the east side of the fourth floor is the ancient runes classroom. This room is quite roomy and has posters of the rune alphabet and simple rune translations on the wall. The desks are spread out evenly and a giant bookcase taking up one side of the room is full of books with translations and pictures of runes that are used around the world.

| ARITHMANCY CLASSROOM
On the west side of the sixth floor is a small classroom where students learn Arithmancy. This small room has all the desks connected which make an out square around the room and there are bookcases on two of the walls. There is a giant chalkboard covering one wall. This is a very hard subject that needs your total focus, so listen to the teacher!

| ASTRONOMY CLASSROOM
In the tallest tower in the castle, students learn to read the sky and identify planets, moons and stars. This room has windows all around the walls and a giant planetary system made out of gold in the middle of the circular room. This tells you where each planet, star moon is at the moment. This is out of bounds at all times unless there is a lesson going on.

| CARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES CLASSROOM
At the very edge of the forbidden forest is a small enclosure with wooden fences around the edge. In here students learn about different magical creatures. Most animals are brought out here so students can learn about them but there is also a little gateway at the back of the enclosure leading into the forbidden forest where they see animals that don't come out into the sunlight.

| CHARMS CLASSROOM
Along the charms corridor is a large room where students learn to cast complex charms. The room is split into two separate sections, one where you sit down and get taught how the spell works and the other is where you perform the charm.

| DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS CLASSROOM
Taking up a large amount of the first floor is the defense against dark arts room which is situated on the south side of the floor. In this giant room students learn to defend themselves against dark magic and dark creatures.

| DIVINATION CLASSROOM
At the top North Tower is a big circular room which is accessed through a step ladder falling from a trap door in the ceiling. There is a roaring fire with a copper kettle giving of sweet smelling fumes inside and cosy armchairs and small pouffes which surround small tables that are around the room. Along one side of the room is shelves lined with tea cups, crystal balls and decks of cards.

| FLYING CLASSROOM
In the center of the lawns students learn to fly a broomstick that belong to the school. The brooms are very slow and sometimes vibrate when flying. Be careful not to fall off and hurt yourself!

| HERBOLOGY CLASSROOM
Taught in the greenhouses at the edge of the lawns, is three greenhouses. In there are magical plants that students learn about. A magical watering can goes around watering the plants every so often to keep them alive. Be careful in greenhouse three, the plants in there will try and eat you!

| HISTORY OF MAGIC CLASSROOM
A small dust room at the end of the first floor corridor leads to the History of Magic classroom. Bookshelves are lined across two of the walls, the third has a giant blackboard and the last has two windows showing you Forbidden Forest and the Black Lake.

| MUGGLE STUDIES CLASSROOM
On the north side of the first floor you will find a long room with cabinets filled with muggle objects like plugs and light bulbs and around the room there are pictures of muggles at work.

| POTIONS CLASSROOM
Down in one of the roomy dungeons is a room full of jarred creatures which are placed all around the walls on shelves. Loads of cauldrons are placed around the room where students will learn to brew potions that can be either basic or complex.

| TRANSFIGURATION CLASSROOM
At the very end of the fifth floor corridor is the roomy transfiguration classroom. It has high windows overlooking the lawns in the grounds. The desks in the classroom and spaced out and there are animal cages and bookcases all around the room. This is a very tough subject so on messing around!

| HOGWARTS GROUNDS |
| THE COURTYARD
Outside the entrance hall is a lovely paved courtyard with a water fountain in the middle. Around the edge is stone benches for people to sit and relax at. There are three archways on each side of the courtyard leading to the different parts of the grounds.

| THE LAWNS
All around the castle are well looked after lawns. The lawns start from the courtyard and pass the Black Lake to the Forbidden Forest. These evenly kept lawns are not out of bounds but there are rules saying that you are not allowed to wreck them.

| THE BLACK LAKE
An amazing feature for the Hogwarts grounds is the Black Lake. Home to the giant squid, merpeople and grindylow the lake is the place to be in the summer. You can sit on the edge and dip your feet into the cool water and relax.

| THE QUIDDITCH PITCH
A high stadium shaped like and oval encloses a massive quidditch pitch where the four houses will go against each other to be crowned house champion. Three golden hoops, 50 feet high are placed on each side of the pitch. Around the side of the pitch is seats rising in the air giving you an amazing look of the pitch.

| FORBIDDEN FOREST
At the bottom of the lawns is the forbidden forest. It is out of bounds for all students because it is home to some dangerous creatures. As you go deeper into the forest the trees will become a lot thicker and the more dangerous it will become.

| WIZARDING INDUSTRIES |
| DIAGON ALLEY
Thought a bar named the Leaky Cauldron and out the back is a solid brick wall. Tapping the right brick will reveal an archway leading you to the always crowded street of Diagon Alley. Shops of all sorts lie here. Most students attending Hogwarts will buy there school stuff here.

| KNOCKTURN ALLEY
Just off Diagon Alley is a small cobbled street named Knockturn Alley. This twisted alleyway is the darkest and dirtiest streets around. It is devoted completely to Dark Arts. Not many people wander down here because it is quite dangerous.

| HOGSMEADE
One the outskirts of Hogwarts is a small village, each building with thatched rooks and stone walls. This is the only wizarding village in the whole of Britain. Wizards from all over the world come here and visit the shops here. Students from Hogwarts can come here on certain weekends. Year three and above only!

| MINISTRY OF MAGIC
In the heart of London is the headquarters of the Ministry of Magic. The Ministry is the government of the wizarding world. Goes miles underground, even further than the underground, the ministry is situated into 10 floors. Each ones main objective is to stop muggles finding out about the magical community.

| ST. MUNGO'S
Founded in the late 1500s St. Mungo's is probably the only wizarding hospital in Britain. The entrance to St. Mungo's is concealed behind an abandoned red-brick London department store called Purge and Dowse, Ltd. on a Muggle street. Inside there is rickety chairs and outdated Witch Weekly magazines. If you have any problems please ask the Welcome Witch for help.

| KINGS CROSS STATION
In northwester London a muggle train station named Kings Cross Station lies. There is nothing unusual about this station, muggles use it every day. But no one has ever heard of Hogwarts there. But students of Hogwarts catch the train here. In the middle of Platform 9 and 10 is the train to Hogwarts. To access it you have to to walk through the barrier that is in the middle of platform 9 and 10. On the other side of the barrier is the great red steam engine called the Hogwarts Express.

| AZKABAN PRISON
In the middle of the North Sea is a island that is heavily protected. On the island is a high fortress where the prisoners of the wizarding world are kept. It is heavily guarded by Dementors who suck the happiness out of you. It is a truly unpleasant place to be.

| CONSTRUCTION SITE
A mass of underground tunnels have appeared all over Britain. No know knows who did them or what there purpose is. It is heavily guarded by magical enchantments and magical creatures. A select few within the Ministry know about it but the ones that know are not speaking. What is it? Whats is it for? Only time will tell.

| NORTH AMERICA
The wizards in North America a lot less discrete about there magic and sometimes use it in the eyes of muggles. It is quite peaceful here between wizards and muggles and there very few incidents here where a wizard kills a muggle.
